1. Hydrostatic Testing of WYE-II
The Hydrostatic testing of WYE-II was done successfully at a pressure of 120 kg/cm². This was very critical test and was executed with utmost precision by the Pressure Shaft team of ADHPL.
2. Erection of Pressure Shaft Liner in Inclined shaft completed
The erection and back fill concreting of 567 m inclined pressure shaft at an angle of 52º between bend 3 and bend 4 and 315 meters inclined pressure shaft at an angle of 52º between bend 1 and bend 2 has been completed. This placement, fit up of ferrule, welding and concreting at this inclination was an arduous task but it has been completed with accuracy by pressure shaft team of ADHPL.
3. ADHPL deploys CIFA Gantry for Tunnel Lining
CIFA gantry, imported from Italy, has been deployed in Allain HRT for tunnel lining. This state of art machine is being used in this region for the first time for tunnel lining. The Gantry has traveler consisting of front and rear beams with electric motor and hydraulic pumps, distributor for concrete pouring, shutters, Inverts, etc. Tunnel lining is being done at a much faster pace at an average of 8 meters lining per day as compared to available manual gantries.
