The Bhoomi Pujan and the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the 192 MW Allain-Duhangan Hydro Electric Power Project was conducted at the site in Manali, Himachal Pradesh on 21st November, 2005.


The major acquisition of land for the project was completed during 2005-2006.The company also acquired a major portion of the private land required for construction of the project and transmission line.


The construction of a road measuring 16 kms from the State Highway to Allain Barrage and 14 kms Duhangan Road has been completed. Construction of office and township have been Completed.


Construction of underground power house started in 2006 and all civil works stand completed. The Electrical and Mechanical equipments are installed and auxiliaries are being commissioned. The TG set shall also be commissioned over the next few months.


The works for these areas was awarded in Nov 2005. The barrage and intermediate reservoir have been completed. While the tunnel work is expected to be completed over the next few month.


Tunneling work is in advanced stage of civil construction while work on weir would be taken up shortly.


All works on Allain side are completed.


The switchyard at prini is completed while that at Nalagarh is in advanced stage of completion.


The 185 Kms Long 220 KV double circuit Transmission line has two section viz-Snow Zone (From Prini to Panarsa) and Non-Snow Zone (from Panarsa to Nalagarh).

All forest clearance is obtained and the construction work/erection of towers is in advanced stage.
